Meet Joel

When not writing, Joel spends his time pestering his wife Sarah, daughter Naomi, and son Samuel Roger as they enjoy their life together in the 5th Ward.

Joel has provided leadership in urban redevelopment, immigration, educational reform initiatives and developed the Healing the Brokenness Conference.

Joel is a Visiting Scholar on Race, Religion, and Politics for the Center for Faith and Culture at St. Thomas University in Houston, TX.
